For this soothing herbal face cleanser, we hand-mix organic castille soap with a dose of strong-brewed calendula flowers, marshmallow roots, and chamomile flowers, and then we add unrefined cold-press pumpkin seed oil and golden jojoba seed oil. The blue tansy and German blue chamomile oils we use are a very dark, midnight blue color, which is one way to ensure that they are the highest grade available (lower-grade oils are thinner and paler blue or almost green in color). These deep blue oils (rich in chamazule ne) are anti-inflammatory, calming, soothing, repairing, and antiviral. The combination of German and Roman chamomile and Moroccan chamomile (blue tansy) with just a touch of violet leaf and galbanum also results in a light, comforting, and mind-soothing scent.
The Ritual
This face cleanser does not contain emulsifiers so it will naturally separate: shake the bottle briefly to remix as needed. Apply a pea-sized amount of the cleanser onto wet hands, lather up, and massage into the skin. Rinse thoroughly.

This ultra-gentle foaming face cleanser is suitable for use on even the most sensitive skin, and will remove light to moderate makeup. Marshmallow Face Cleanser can also be enjoyed as a body wash, which is especially recommended for people with sensitive or dry skin or skin prone to allergies, psoriasis, or eczema. This cleanser contains a bouquet of in-house-brewed organic herbs that leave the skin feeling clean, silky, soft, and calm—never dry or tight. Marshmallow root soothes and softens, calendula petals heal the skin, chamomile flowers calm inflammation, and pumpkin seed oil helps heal and prevent acne. The cleanser is scented with pure aromatherapy-grade essential oils including German, Roman, and Moroccan chamomile. This is a very concentrated cleanser that lathers up to a luxurious foam, so a little goes a long way.
The Experience
Marshmallow Face Cleanser has a lovely camel color and smells of graham cracker and earth. It has a medium viscosity and lathers easily.
